Born with a Sharpie in her hand, a career in design was her destiny. After a childhood of doodling on walls and carry-out containers, she eventually received her BA in graphic design from Columbia College Chicago. From there she worked as a designer at a boutique design firm, the Museum of Science & Industry, and Purdue University. She knew from the start she wanted to freelance so as long as she has been working she has built a client base and eventually started her own graphic design business.
